Information Innovators, Inc. (“Triple-I”), a federal government IT contractor, partnered with DFW to assist in transitioning the business from a veteran-owned company to one that competes on a full & open, unrestricted basis. Triple-I provided a full suite of health information technology services, enterprise information technology solutions, and agile development capabilities focused on the needs of customers within the federal health, civilian, and defense markets. During DFW’s five years of ownership, Triple-I (i) converted its existing contracted revenue; (ii) completed four strategic acquisitions; (iii) diversified and deepened its customer base in health and defense agencies; (iv) added high end software development and geospatial capabilities; (v) capitalized on newly-acquired contract vehicles to secure large new contracts; (vi) made significant investments in the executive team and a fully integrated back office; and (vii) supported this growth with equity and a scalable financing structure.
Triple-I was eventually sold to Salient CRGT, a portfolio company of Bridge Growth Partners and Frontenac Co, for a substantial gain on DFW’s and management’s equity.
