DFW Capital Partners closes the acquisition of Garden State Dental Management

DFW Capital Partners announced today that it has led the acquisition of a majority interest of Garden State Dental Management (“GSDM”). GSDM is a group of six dental practices located in New Jersey that will be used as a platform for building a regional dental practice management company. GSDM is DFW’s first investment from its new private equity fund, DFW Capital Partners III L.P.

The practices are run by Craig Abramowitz, DDS, an accomplished dental services entrepreneur. Craig will continue to run the business as the Company’s CEO. The GSDM practices are all located in New Jersey with offices in Union, Kearny, Tom’s River, East Brunswick, Roselle Park, and the Ironbound section of Newark. The Company has a multi-faceted growth strategy including expanding its current service offerings, opening new practices, and select opportunistic acquisitions of small overlooked dental practices in the New York / New Jersey metropolitan area.

DFW has almost a decade of experience owning and evaluating dental practice management companies and is exciting about adding GSDM with Craig’s leadership to the portfolio.

Joining DFW in the GSDM deal was MCG Capital Corporation.
